IELTS

IELTS or ‘International English Language Testing System’ is an international standardized test of English language proficiency. It is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, the British Council and IDP Education Pvt Ltd. IELTS is available in two test formats: ACADEMIC and GENERAL TRAINING. ALL candidates take the same Listening and Speaking modules but different Reading and Writing modules. Listening, Reading and Writing must be completed in one day. Depending on your test centre, the Speaking test may be offered on the same day up to a week before or after the other parts.

PTE

The Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) is an English language test designed to assess the readiness of non-native English speakers to participate in a university-level English language instruction program, who want to study abroad. It tests four modules of the language – Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking via computer in a single 3-hour test session. Pearson created PTE Academic in response to demand from institutions, government and other organizations for a more accurate way of testing non-native English language students who enter the English-speaking academic world.
